Sorry folks, we’ve got a wee touch of the plague, so we’ll not be streaming this night. Fear not, we shall return next Wednesday 2/21/2024.

First up, while the Internet Goddess has been far from generous with her kindness towards my streaming ineptitudes, the audio is still sketchy and I’ve got a long road ahead of me to make the show more dynamic and appealing…etc..etc.. Even with that, our viewership during our live shows has seen some real impressive numbers. I mean our last show had up to 6 people watching us for at least a few minutes at a time and that was without me running Twitch from several other mobile devices to boost our numbers! 🙂

Where we had our greatest victory, and what I’d like to personally thank all of our MOST RABID followers for, is having pledged their own monies to take us above and beyond our Kickstarter for Coming of Winter 3 Module release. We’d asked for $2600.00 and you folks amazed us with your generous hearts by giving in excess for a total of $4139.00!

That kind of appreciation for their work, only serves to drive these amazing adventure craftsmen to do more, to experiment more, and more importantly produce more.

I personally hope to contribute more video productions, with ever improving quality and entertainment value. I have so many plans, but as my good buddy Jon says, whoa there pal…how bout you learn how to use what you have right now?

He’s right of course…but I will be cutting a hole in that table THIS YEAR, and adding a digital desk top. What does that mean? Only that when were too lazy to pull out the tiles, we’ll be able to fire up the table itself and have a digital map that will be using tools like Arkenforge, Dungeondraft, and the gods willing Menyr!

Happy New Year folks!

November has completely blown for us. Sorry folks but due to circumstances beyond the control of people in their 50’s, we had to take a time out this week due to damages inflicted, and slowly deteriorating bodies.

We will return to the Internet Next Wednesday night on December 6th a day prior to a date which will live…in INFAMY.

Until then, axes high brothers!

After spending the day in the studio and thinking I had the audio dialed in, we began the show with everything looking OK… But OBS settings for Recording at Higher Quality suddenly gave me an error code. The tiny SSD external 1TB hard drive could no longer be seen by the Streaming PC. Which caused about a 2 minute delay while I struggled to figure out just what the frack had happened. Still not sure what happened, but I know that we will go again without a YouTube copy of the show this week.

Got the stream up and running again, but then the A-12 Driver for the Mixer started to tank when I began to tune the audio during the live stream in OBS. I was trying to remove some of the hiss that would happen when folks started to speak, especially the DM who’s on a RODE Wireless. All I managed to do was kill the audio entirely, and then to make matters worse, the WiFi connection died killing the stream entirely. Honestly I was ready to walk out, but the boys were unaware and having a damn good time, so who was I to give up.

I fussed, I tinkered, and I may have found a few key mistakes in how I had the Audio Setting in Windows set up, because when I started to get the sound back…I noticed something I didn’t have before. The audio was actually in STEREO. All this time the damn audio was in MONO and I didn’t realize it, but when it transitions to Stereo, you know when it happens.

I got the WiFi back up, and shot the last half of the show live.

I’ll be back at it this Sunday, trying to learn from my mistakes and have everything ready for what I hope will be an incident free stream, and a solid recording to post on the first Sunday of December 2023.

My apologies for the blunders, but we learn by doing and I just hope you’ll all be following us when this becomes old hat.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans!

We have begun to try our skills at content creation to promote who we are and what we hope to share with you. Were kicking things off with our first true posting, a taste of what is to come in Episode One : Introduction to Coppercore.

Prepping for Content Creation

That’s right folks, we’re working very hard to prep coverage of our next grand adventure!

A lot of work has been done by The Director to prep a meager “garage” into the “Live Studio Streaming Dungeon Set”. From multiple lights, shotgun mics connected to a twelve-channel mixer, cables… so many damn cables… and three iterations of best placements.

Finally settling for 3 Cannon M50 II’s and one Insta360 Link. All of that piped into a PC with OBS and fiber optic internet upload access.
